After-hours coverage for MSPs
Prevent IT is an Estonia-based technical subcontractor for MSPs that need reliable remote execution during North American night hours. We handle scheduled maintenance, monitoring triage, infrastructure tasks and documented ticket work.
Weekdays 09:00–17:00 EET/EEST · written-first collaboration
Typical coverage window
Exact overlap can shift briefly around daylight-saving transition weeks. Work is performed within an agreed service window, not as a 24/7 live desk.
Supported work
The best fit is planned operational work, alert review and tickets that do not require live end-user interaction.
Core, extension, plugin and theme updates; backup checks; security header review; troubleshooting; malware cleanup and controlled rebuilds.
Review alerts, validate whether a service is actually affected, collect evidence, perform approved first actions and escalate with a concise handover.
Check job status, storage capacity and recent failures, perform agreed restore checks and document exceptions for the partner team.
Scheduled patching, service checks, log review, disk and certificate checks, configuration changes and routine server administration.
Account and access tasks, MFA and group changes, license administration, mailbox work and documented tenant housekeeping.
Approved configuration work, firmware updates, connectivity checks, VPN troubleshooting and post-change validation through remote access.
Ticket queue support
We can process tickets that have sufficient context, approved access and a clear expected result. The focus is execution and handover rather than live telephone support.
Daily work is handled through email, ticketing, Slack or Teams. Scheduled calls are possible when a change, onboarding or escalation genuinely benefits from a live discussion.
We do not position this as a live English-language call center or general end-user phone desk.
Time-zone advantage
Estonian business hours align with the overnight and early-morning period across much of the United States and Canada.
Primary target region. Scheduled changes, ticket work and monitoring follow-up can be completed before or during the first hours of the local business day.
Best operational fitThe overlap is mainly late afternoon and evening. This can suit handover work, scheduled maintenance and follow-the-sun task queues.
Secondary fitThe overlap reaches evening and early night. Scope should be based on planned tasks rather than immediate live incident response.
Scheduled work onlyHow engagement starts
Choose systems, allowed actions, service window, escalation contacts and the tooling to be used.
Use named accounts, MFA, least privilege and your existing ticketing, password vault or remote-management process.
Complete one defined maintenance window or task set and provide evidence, notes and a written handover.
If the workflow fits, agree a monthly capacity, recurring windows and task or escalation boundaries.
Security and control
We are not selling an autonomous agent with unrestricted access. Work is performed by a technical specialist within the permissions, runbooks and approval rules agreed with the MSP.
No shared administrator identity where the platform supports individual accounts.
Access is limited to the systems and actions required for the agreed task.
High-impact changes require explicit authorization or a pre-approved runbook.
Actions, results, unresolved risks and escalation details are documented.
Initial pricing
A narrow paid trial is safer for both sides than committing immediately to a broad after-hours support agreement.
Recommended first step
Up to six hours for one defined task set or maintenance window.
Recurring work
Ten reserved hours for agreed ticket, monitoring or maintenance work.
Variable scope
For bounded infrastructure, cleanup, migration or incident follow-up tasks.
Indicative B2B pricing. Final pricing depends on access complexity, documentation quality, systems, risk, required reporting, service windows and approval authority. This service does not include a live 24/7 help desk, SOC, onsite dispatch or guaranteed emergency response.
